Job Description

  • Handle troubleshooting and enhancement of BI and data warehouse workflows
  • Convert analytics and data pipeline requirements into scalable models and ETL designs
  • Work closely with architects, developers, and data providers to align technical solutions
  • Participate in requirement workshops and coordinate with stakeholders for clarity and alignment
  • Build and refine ETL structures covering data integration, storage, error handling, and validation
  • Prepare clear technical specifications for both functional and non-functional components
  • Design data models that support long-term scalability and minimize costly redesign
  • Evaluate and onboard new data sources using structured data quality assessment
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies by optimizing ETL logic and workflows

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, statistics, or related disciplines
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality frameworks, and warehouse architecture
  • Proficient with SQL and PL/SQL including data manipulation and schema operations
  • Advantageous experience with Hadoop, Python, Java Spring Boot, Docker, or OCP
  • Solid Power BI skills across data modelling, reporting, integration, and security
  • Familiar with dimensional models such as Star Schema and Snowflake
  • Experience with SSAS, row-level security, JSON API data sourcing, and Power Query M
  • Skilled in managing Power BI-SSAS migrations, versioning, and environment deployments
  • Strong analytical ability with effective communication in English and Chinese
  • Minimum 5+ years in data engineering, BI, or data migration projects
