Job Description

As a Data Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Automate and streamline the consolidation of in-force and new business data from multiple source systems.
  • Develop and enhance data validation checks, trend analysis, and control frameworks to improve the accuracy and consistency of regulatory submissions.
  • Support the delivery of reporting requirements for HKIA and AMCM.
  • Ensure data integrity across finance, actuarial, and investment datasets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data flows, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Design, document, and maintain data transformation logic, workflows, and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and sustainable data solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Analyst should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Python is required.
  • Experience with Databricks and Alteryx is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
