A fast-growing international business is currently seeking an experienced Country Finance Lead to go beyond traditional finance to become a trusted advisor to senior leadership across APAC.

Job Description

  • Apply financial expertise to review commercial contracts, manage contract governance, and ensure appropriate financial oversight of key business agreements.
  • Manage vendor-related financial matters, foster effective stakeholder relationships, and support negotiations to optimize business and commercial outcomes.
  • Partner closely with country and regional leadership teams to provide financial insights, strategic guidance, and decision support that drive business growth and performance.
  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to corporate and local regulatory requirements.
  • Establish, strengthen, and monitor internal controls, governance frameworks, and compliance processes to safeguard the business and mitigate financial risks.
  • Oversee risk management initiatives by identifying financial and operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and supporting audit and regulatory activities.
  • Drive finance transformation, process improvement, and cross-functional initiatives across APAC, while promoting best practices and operational excellence within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification required.
  • Regional/APAC exposure with 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibilities in financial controllership, accounting, audit, or country finance management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reviewing commercial contracts, contract governance, vendor management, and applying sound financial judgment to support business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, statutory requirements, internal controls, and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Proven experience in risk management, audit coordination, compliance oversight, and driving control improvements within a multinational environment.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, communicate effectively across functions, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth-oriented organization.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required to be considered for this position.
