Our client is seeking a commercially minded and results-driven Commercial Manager to develop and expand business opportunities across key off-trade accounts, including supermarket chains, convenience stores, liquor retailers, and discount channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with strong industry knowledge, established customer relationships, and a passion for building premium brands.

Job Description

  • Drive sales growth and business development across major off-trade customers, including supermarkets, convenience stores, liquor stores, and other retail channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers and decision-makers within strategic accounts.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and trading discussions to maximize sales revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing and Brand teams to execute impactful promotional activities, visibility programs, and brand activation initiatives.
  • Develop and implement annual sales plans, distribution strategies, and customer development programs to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify commercial opportunities to strengthen market position.
  • Manage and optimize trade marketing and promotional budgets to ensure effective return on investment and alignment with sales targets.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of commercial sales experience within the wine, spirits, beverage, or FMCG industry.
  • Established network and proven experience managing off-trade customers is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, account management, and business development skills with a track record of delivering sustainable sales growth.
  • Commercially astute, analytical, and data-driven with strong strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Native in Cantonese, fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
