The role involves leveraging market data, CRM insights, and sales analytics to enable data-driven decision-making while ensuring optimal allocation of resources and budget management. In leading the CNS Business Unit, the manager will set clear team objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and actively coach and develop team members through structured field engagement and capability-building initiatives. The position also requires close collaboration with distribution and commercial partners to enhance market penetration, monitor performance, and ensure accurate demand forecasting to maintain healthy inventory levels. A critical aspect of the role is building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals by delivering scientific and ethical product information while gathering market intelligence to refine commercial strategies. Additionally, the manager will ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies, while working cross-functionally with regional and local teams to drive business sustainability, operational improvements, and overall organizational success.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate is a seasoned pharmaceutical professional with a minimum of five years of people management experience and a strong track record in business unit leadership, preferably within the CNS therapeutic area. An advanced degree such as an MBA or equivalent is preferred, along with in-depth knowledge of Hong Kong pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards. The candidate should demonstrate excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and translate insights into actionable plans. Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential.
