Job Description

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as process flows, workflow diagrams, business rules, and data mappings.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and test cases, executing tests, and tracking defects through to resolution.
  • Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, monitoring dependencies, risks, and delivery status.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented correctly.
  • Ensure solutions align with relevant compliance and regulatory requirements within investment and insurance domains.

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking, insurance, or investment services.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of investment products (e.g. mutual funds, equities, bonds) and insurance products (e.g. life, health, protection).
  • Hands-on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new business domains and technical concepts.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Visio, or basic SQL is an advantage.
