Job Description

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to analyze business strategies, technology trends, and define future-state architecture.
  • Design and present solution options with high-level cost estimates aligned to business needs.
  • Evaluate solution options from both technical and business architecture perspectives.
  • Lead and support end-to-end solution design across application, infrastructure, and technology layers.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks associated with proposed solutions.
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Coordinate across technical domains and ensure alignment and required approvals.
  • Define target architecture aligned with company standards, enterprise architecture, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in architecture governance to ensure alignment with roadmaps and blueprints.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including blueprints and RFI/RFP materials.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, including at least 1 year in solution architecture or similar role.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance industry is preferred.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Knowledge across insurance domains is an advantage.
  • Exposure to diverse technologies (web, mobile, data, cloud, legacy systems).
  • Experience in core system modernization, especially in life insurance, is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and container technologies (e.g., OpenShift).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English; Cantonese is a plus.
