About Our Client

Our client is an established international trading company with operations. To support its continued business development, the company is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented finance professional to join its Hong Kong office as Assistant Manager.

Job Description

  • Take ownership of daily accounting activities for multiple trading entities, ensuring transactions and supporting documents are recorded accurately.
  • Coordinate the month-end closing process and assist in producing timely management and financial reports.
  • Manage day-to-day treasury activities, including cash-flow monitoring, fund allocation and short-term liquidity planning.
  • Handle trade finance arrangements such as letters of credit, trade loans and bill discounting.
  • Keep track of banking facilities and work closely with relationship banks on funding and operational matters.
  • Monitor receivables and payables, coordinate payment schedules and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
  • Review invoices, bank transactions and account reconciliations while maintaining proper financial records.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks and other professional parties.
  • Support management with finance-related projects and other assignments when required.



The Successful Applicant

    • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or ACCA.
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
    • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Comfortable handling both operational accounting and analytical work.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Good communication skills in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
    • Willing to travel to Mainland China when business needs arise.
