This role serves as a key liaison between the internal Capital Markets team and external insurance clients. Native Mandarin speakers with relevant client service experience working with Chinese insurance companies are highly preferred.

Job Description

Institutional Client Management & Service Excellence

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients and stakeholders, ensuring responsive, high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication channels and coordinate internal resources to address client requests and business needs in a timely manner.



Investment Project Execution & Coordination

  • Partner closely with investment, legal, compliance and operations teams to facilitate the execution of capital markets investment projects.
  • Coordinate documentation preparation, regulatory responses, due diligence processes and internal approvals to ensure smooth project implementation.



Investment Management Agreement Review

  • Support the review, update and negotiation of investment management agreements.
  • Coordinate annual mandate reviews, new investment strategy launches, and fee structure adjustments with both internal and external stakeholders.



Portfolio Monitoring & Post-Investment Management

  • Act as the liaison between capital markets investment teams and insurance capital clients.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, conduct portfolio analytics, and prepare periodic investment reports and performance reviews.
  • Support client communications, service reviews and KPI assessments.



Regulatory & Management Reporting

  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of regulatory, management and internal reporting materials.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency of reporting methodologies and effective cross-functional collaboration.



Cross-Functional Project Management

  • Lead the coordination of responses and deliverables across investment, risk, compliance, legal and operational teams.
  • Drive strategic cross-departmental and cross-entity projects relating to capital markets investment activities.



Market Intelligence & Investment Research Support

  • Provide market insights, peer benchmarking, industry intelligence and regulatory updates.
  • Support investment teams and clients with relevant market research and strategic analysis.



Governance & Policy Management

  • Coordinate the review, enhancement and implementation of policies and procedures related to capital markets investments.
  • Support investment committee governance matters and related decision-making processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within insurance companies, asset management firms, institutional investment platforms or financial institutions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting insurance asset management mandates, portfolio monitoring and institutional client servicing.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets products, investment processes and portfolio management practices.
  • Familiarity with cross-border investment products, offshore structures and related operational workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple functions and seniority levels.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of ownership and accountability.
