Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update investment schedules for a wide range of financial instruments, including bonds, structured notes, total return swaps, forwards, futures, options, interest rate swaps, repos, and other derivatives.
  • Perform daily updates of valuation system data and reconcile positions, valuations, and trade records with Operations and Front Office teams.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Head Office, Front Office, and Risk Management teams, to fulfil data requests and support reporting requirements.
  • Reconcile broker statements, trade confirmations, and investment reports against internal records.
  • Monitor and analyze daily cash movements across bank accounts and ensure accurate ledger postings.
  • Participate in system enhancement initiatives, regulatory reporting (RA11), and process improvement projects.
  • Prepare monthly KPI and management analysis reports.
  • Support ad hoc assignments and projects as delegated by the Team Leader.



The Successful Applicant

A successful VP -Finance FICC should have:

  • Practical capability in Accounting & Finance activities.
  • Ability to prepare and review financial information accurately.
  • Minimum 4 years of FICC experience
  • Chinese Brokerage firm is a must
  • Confidence in handling financial data and supporting records.
  • Ability to organise tasks and complete work to agreed deadlines.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders on finance-related requests.
  • A clear and careful approach to finance documentation.
