Job Description

As a Venture Capital Investment VP, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and assess investment opportunities that align with portfolio priorities and investment objectives.
  • Lead due diligence activities to build a clear view of a prospective investment's commercial potential.
  • Develop investment analyses, financial models and valuation materials to support decision-making.
  • Prepare clear investment papers and presentations for internal review and approval.
  • Monitor market developments, investment trends and relevant sector activity to inform opportunity assessment.
  • Work with stakeholders to progress investment opportunities through each stage of the investment process.
  • Track portfolio company performance and provide updates that support informed portfolio decisions.
  • Maintain accurate investment records, analysis and documentation across assigned transactions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Venture Capital Investment VP should have:

  • Experience in venture capital investment, private equity, investment banking or corporate finance.
  • Strong capability in investment analysis, financial modelling and company valuation.
  • Experience assessing commercial opportunities and carrying out investment due diligence.
  • Sound understanding of portfolio monitoring and investment performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of market research and sector analysis within Financial Services.
