Job Description

  • Lead the global regulatory and compliance program for food products and packaging materials across international markets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on regulatory requirements, new product development, and commercialisation initiatives.
  • Monitor and interpret emerging food regulations, ensuring timely communication of regulatory updates and business impacts.
  • Develop and implement regulatory policies, standards, and best practices across the organisation.
  • Manage external regulatory consultants and service providers to ensure high-quality support and compliance outcomes.
  • Partner with industry associations, trade groups, and regulatory authorities to address regulatory developments and advocate for business interests when appropriate.
  • Support global compliance initiatives and drive a proactive regulatory culture across the organisation.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of regulatory affairs experience within the food industry.
  • Strong expertise in international food regulations, including food labeling, food safety, product compliance, and product claims.
  • Solid understanding of new product development (NPD) and commercialisation processes.
  • Experience working within multinational or global organisations is highly preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.
