Job Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain network automation solutions with an automation‑first approach.
  • Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories for network provisioning and changes.
  • Automate configuration, deployment, and validation across LAN, WAN, and cloud networks.
  • Build and improve self‑service and zero‑touch provisioning workflows.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams on automation use cases.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network and automation failures.
  • Establish standards, templates, and best practices for network automation.
  • Integrate automation with monitoring, CI/CD, and ITSM tools where applicable.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on automation frameworks.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking or network engineering.
  • Strong, hands‑on experience with Ansible for network automation (mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, VLAN, TCP/IP).
  • Experience automating multi‑vendor network environments (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation and integration.
  • Familiarity with network automation frameworks, APIs, and version control (Git).
  • Experience with cloud or hybrid networking environments is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and operational mindset.
  • Fluent in Cantonese; able to communicate effectively with local stakeholders.
