This Hong Kong-based asset management firm, with over a decade of establishment , serves as the international investment platform of a major Chinese insurance group. It is licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission for both securities advisory (Type 4) and asset management (Type 9) activities, and is responsible for managing the group's non‑RMB assets while facilitating cross‑border investment flows between Mainland China and overseas markets. Supported by strong capital resources, investment capabilities, and extensive institutional channels from its parent group, the firm focuses on diversified overseas investments-including bonds, equities, private equity, and real estate-and provides comprehensive investment solutions built on rigorous research, professional expertise, and a commitment to integrity and transparency.

Job Description



  • Develop New Business Channels
    Proactively expand and cultivate new onshore and offshore business channels, with a particular focus on institutional clients such as mainland Chinese banks, wealth management subsidiaries, and wealth platforms. Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.


  • Client Needs Analysis & Product Structuring
    Consolidate and analyse clients' cross‑border investment needs, propose suitable product solutions, and take the lead in coordinating fundraising activities.


  • Support Integrated Marketing Initiatives
    Assist the department in executing integrated marketing efforts with the parent company (a major Chinese insurance group), and actively promote the firm's cross‑border investment products.


  • Business Targets & KPIs
    Take responsibility for achieving departmental KPIs, including third‑party AUM growth and revenue targets.



The Successful Applicant



Education & Major

  • Full‑time postgraduate degree (Master's or above).
  • Preferred majors include Marketing, Finance, or related disciplines.



2. Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of institutional sales or private banking experience gained at large or mid‑sized financial institutions such as asset management companies, banks, securities firms, or fund houses.



3. Key Competencies / Core Criteria

  • Proven track record in sales performance.
  • Possess a solid network of institutional clients, e.g., banks and family offices; candidates with foreign or Hong Kong local client resources will be prioritised.
  • Strong financial knowledge, solid commercial judgment, and strong interpersonal understanding.
  • Ability to build trust and long‑term relationships with clients.



4. Other Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing, confident personality with strong collaboration and communication abilities.



Additional Preferred Qualifications



  1. Mainland Market Background (Highly Preferred)
    • Experience in institutional sales at mainland China brokers or fund houses, serving major clients such as the Big Four state‑owned banks and regional commercial banks (interbank departments, investment departments, or financial markets divisions).


  2. Experience in Mainland Banks
    • Alternatively, candidates who have previously worked in mainland Chinese state‑owned or regional commercial banks, with hands‑on experience in marketing, business development, or institutional client coverage-especially within head office or branch‑level Institutional Business / Financial Markets Departments, responsible for corporate or institutional funding needs.


  3. Cross‑border Investment Knowledge
    • Familiarity with cross‑border capital flows and overseas investment products.
    • Talent may be sourced from Mainland China (Beijing, the Greater Bay Area, Yangtze River Delta, etc.). Eligible candidates can be sponsored for a Hong Kong work visa.
