You will work under family office overseeing a diversified portfolio of financial investments and operating businesses. The successful candidate will partner closely with senior management including the CFO and Chairman.

  • Lead the preparation and review of full sets of accounts, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow forecasts, management accounts, and annual budgets.
  • Oversee group consolidation, statutory financial reporting, external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory filings across multiple entities.
  • Ensure accounting records and financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Review and approve payments, vouchers, journal entries, and accounting reconciliations.
  • Support strategic projects, corporate transactions, business initiatives, and ad hoc assignments as required by senior management.
  • Oversee investment and fund accounting activities
  • Monitor fund performance, analyze investment results, and provide financial insights and recommendations to investment professionals and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes while ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Support onboarding of new investments, special purpose vehicles, and corporate entities from an accounting and control perspective.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to strengthen reporting efficiency and data accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Qualified CPA, HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience gained from family offices, private equity firms, asset management companies, investment platforms, multinational corporations, or sizeable conglomerates.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS, group consolidation, financial reporting, audit, and taxation.
  • Exposure to investment accounting, fund accounting, NAV reporting, portfolio valuation, or alternative investment structures is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing both corporate finance and investment-related accounting functions at a group level.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong numerical sensitivity and ability to identify discrepancies, risks, and anomalies.
  • Highly analytical, hands-on, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced and confidential environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and data analysis; knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting tools is advantageous.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin preferred).
