Job Description

  • Design and implement scalable Ansible architecture and automation frameworks
  • Develop and maintain reusable Ansible roles, playbooks, and inventories
  • Enforce configuration standards including security baselines and compliance controls
  • Standardize automation practices such as idempotency, error handling, and rollback
  • Integrate Ansible with Infrastructure-as-Code workflows to support end-to-end operations
  • Support multi-cloud environments and ensure consistent configuration management
  • Implement automated drift detection and remediation mechanisms
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with validation, governance, and audit capabilities
  • Align automation processes with ITIL change management and ITSM integration
  • Improve operational efficiency and reliability through automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, platform engineering, or DevSecOps
  • Proven hands-on experience implementing Ansible in production environments
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server administration
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern infrastructure environments
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, ITSM tools, and compliance frameworks
