Job Description

As a Senior Architect (Cloud Architecture), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing scalable and secure cloud architectures tailored to business requirements.
  • Leading the implementation of cloud solutions and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with organisational goals.
  • Conducting cloud readiness assessments and providing recommendations for migration and optimisation.
  • Monitoring and improving cloud infrastructure performance and reliability.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and security protocols in all cloud-related activities.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Staying updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices to enhance organisational capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Architect (Cloud Architecture) should have:

  • Proven expertise in cloud architecture design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration and optimisation processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and security best practices.
