Our client is pne of Asia's leading retail organizations, operating a portfolio of well-known brands across multiple markets. As part of our ongoing digital transformation journey, we are looking for a Senior API & Integration Engineer to help build, automate, and support mission-critical integrations and enterprise platforms.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integration services across enterprise applications.
  • Build and enhance integration workflows between internal systems and external platforms.
  • Develop backend services and automation scripts using Python and JavaScript.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient application delivery.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to define integration patterns and best practices.
  • Create technical documentation, API specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor system performance and implement proactive improvements to ensure platform stability.
  • Participate in release management, deployment activities, and change implementation processes.
  • Support cloud-based and hybrid integration environments.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong experience with Python development in enterprise environments.
  • Solid JavaScript development skills.
  • Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience designing and implementing system-to-system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of API management, API gateways, or integration platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with source control and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
