This role is responsible for overseeing the full Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing while supporting month-end closing and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will bring solid AP experience from a sizeable organization and contribute to process improvements within a stable and reputable Hong Kong business group.

About Our Client

Our client is one of Hong Kong's leading property groups with a strong reputation and sizeable operation. Due to continued business growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support their accounting function.

Job Description

  • Oversee the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) operations and ensure timely and accurate payment processing
  • Review vendor invoices, employee expense claims and payment requests
  • Prepare AP reconciliations and month-end closing schedules
  • Monitor outstanding balances and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal departments and external vendors
  • Support financial reporting, audit preparation and compliance requirements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies
  • Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with solid Accounts Payable exposure
  • Experience from sizable corporations, multinational companies, property developers or shared service environments is highly preferred
  • Familiar with ERP systems and computerized accounting environments
  • Detail-minded, proactive and able to work independently
  • Good command of English and Chinese(Cantonese and Mandarin)
