Job Description

As a Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and progress.
  • Collaborating with product owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog effectively.
  • Removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensuring the team adheres to agile principles and practices for successful project delivery.
  • Tracking and reporting on team performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Encouraging collaboration among team members and across departments.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to team members on agile methodologies.
  • Supporting the adoption of agile practices within the organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Scrum Master should have:

  • A strong understanding of agile frameworks and methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or with technology-related projects.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on delivering results.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
