Job Description

  • Act as the Responsible Officer for the firm's SFC Type 1 and Type 9 regulated activities and maintain compliance with all applicable SFC regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Oversee private equity fund management activities, including investment execution, portfolio monitoring, fund governance, and adherence to investment mandates.
  • Establish and maintain robust compliance, risk management, AML/KYC, and internal control frameworks across the business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the SFC, auditors, legal advisers, fund administrators, and other regulatory stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to investment, operations, and compliance teams

The Successful Applicant

  • Eligible to act as an SFC Responsible Officer for Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) regulated activities in Hong Kong.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in private equity, asset management, investment management, or alternative investments, including managerial and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements, including the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Fund Manager Code of Conduct, AML/CFT regulations, and SFC compliance standards.
  • Proven track record in private equity transactions, including due diligence, deal execution, portfolio management, and investor reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with fluency in English and Chinese preferred.
