Job Description

As a M&A Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse financial information to support merger and acquisition assessments.
  • Prepare clear financial models, valuation materials and transaction analysis.
  • Review business performance data and identify relevant financial trends.
  • Compile due diligence information for transaction discussions and documentation.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records, financial data and supporting files.
  • Work with Accounting & Finance colleagues to gather information for analysis.
  • Support the preparation of materials for merger and acquisition projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful M&A Analyst should have:

  • Experience in financial analysis, modelling and valuation work.
  • 5- 9 Years of M&A experience
  • Insurance industry is highly preferred
  • Big 4 or In House Corporate Finance is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of merger and acquisition processes and transaction analysis.
  • Ability to review financial data and present findings in a clear format.
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations and supporting documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail when working with financial information.
  • Ability to manage transaction-related information in an organised manner.
