Job Description

As a Legal Counsel - Wealth Management, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide legal advice on wealth management products, services and business activities.
  • Review and draft legal documents to support wealth management transactions and client arrangements.
  • Interpret legal issues and provide practical guidance to business stakeholders.
  • Review agreements, terms and supporting materials to identify legal considerations.
  • Work with internal teams to address legal queries linked to wealth management activities.
  • Maintain clear records of legal reviews, advice and document updates.
  • Monitor legal developments relevant to wealth management and share updates with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to legal projects that improve the delivery of legal support across the business.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel - Wealth Management should have:

    • 5-10+ years of relevant legal experience gained from a top-tier law firm or major financial institution.
    • Strong knowledge of derivatives, structured products, financing transactions, and wealth management legal frameworks.
    • Familiarity with Hong Kong financial regulations and cross-border regulatory matters.
    • Excellent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese communication and negotiation skills.
