Job Description

As a Land Acquisition Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing land acquisition strategies for property development projects.
  • Leading negotiations and securing agreements with landowners and stakeholders.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and assessing potential land opportunities.
  • Overseeing planning applications and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to align project goals.
  • Monitoring market trends and maintaining a pipeline of potential acquisition opportunities.
  • Managing budgets and timelines for acquisition and planning activities.
  • Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on project progress.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Land Acquisition & Planning should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Surveying, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, property development, or investment in Hong Kong, with at least 8-10 years in a senior management capacity.
  • Professional qualifications such as MRICS and MHKIS (General Practice) and CFA are highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading high-value land acquisitions and complex development projects in Hong Kong.
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, DCF analysis, and risk assessment for large-scale property developments.
