Job Description

As a Java/ Python Developer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support for financial systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Enhancing system performance by implementing updates and optimizing processes.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations and processes.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Supporting the deployment and testing of new software releases.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external technology standards.
  • Monitoring system health and proactively addressing potential risks or issues.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Java/ Python Developer should have:

  • A strong background in technology with relevant skills in system support and development.
  • At least 3 years' experience working as a Java Developer/Python Developer
  • Experience in finance industry such as stock broking or wholesale finance is preferred
  • The ability to analyze and solve technical issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of system configurations, software deployment, and testing processes.
  • A proactive mindset with the capacity to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
  • A detail-oriented approach to documentation and compliance adherence.
