Job Description

As an IT Senior Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of finance technology and transformation initiatives.
  • Manage project plans, governance, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate delivery across Finance, Operations, Technology, and external partners.
  • Drive requirements, scope management, and acceptance criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee development, testing, and implementation activities to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support technical and architectural decisions while managing dependencies and integration risks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Senior Project Manager should have:

  • 10+ years of project management experience within investment banking or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance functions, Product Control, Regulatory Reporting, or Global Markets.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes with multiple dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of traded products, trade lifecycle, and operational processes.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Agile delivery experience with Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence; strong technical foundation preferred.
