We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure & Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and enhance enterprise-level data center platforms across both on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.This role will play a key part in ensuring platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement within a complex IT landscape.

Job Description

  • Serve as the go-to technical expert for data center platforms, covering server operating systems and virtualization technologies
  • Manage daily operations, administration, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure platforms
  • Ensure platform reliability, performance, and lifecycle management across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments
  • Provide technical input into architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalability and resilience
  • Support ongoing initiatives in automation, optimization, and infrastructure modernization
  • Operate and maintain enterprise infrastructure including:
    • Servers and operating systems
    • Virtualization platforms
    • Storage and backup systems
    • Network infrastructure
    • Data center facilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve overall system performance

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure support and platform engineering
  • Solid expertise in:
    • Linux operating systems (must-have)
    • Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
    • Networking fundamentals and infrastructure connectivity
  • Hands-on experience managing data center environments and hybrid infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments
  • Good understanding of system performance tuning, capacity planning, and high availability setups
  • Exposure to automation tools or scripting is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with broader technical teams
