Our client is a leading multinational FMCG organization with a portfolio of well-established consumer brands across Asia. They are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead business growth, innovation and brand development across multiple markets.

Job Description

Strategic Business & Brand Leadership

  • Develop and execute long-term business growth and brand strategies.
  • Drive portfolio management, product innovation, and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Identify market opportunities and consumer trends to strengthen competitive advantage.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and market share objectives.

Integrated Marketing & Consumer Engagement

  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across traditional, digital, retail, and consumer channels.
  • Oversee product launches, brand activations, and consumer engagement initiatives.
  • Develop customer-centric marketing strategies to drive brand relevance and business growth.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and execution across all touchpoints.

Innovation & Portfolio Management

  • Lead innovation pipeline planning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and commercialize new product opportunities.
  • Drive portfolio optimization and category growth strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, and regional leadership teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Align marketing initiatives with broader organizational priorities and commercial goals.
  • Influence key stakeholders and drive effective cross-functional decision-making.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team across multiple markets.
  • Build organizational capabilities and strengthen marketing effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage marketing investments and ensure optimal return on investment.
  • Monitor business performance, marketing effectiveness, and key financial metrics.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making to maximize commercial outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of FMCG marketing experience with a proven track record of business and brand leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading high-performing marketing teams within sizeable organizations.
  • Strong experience in:
    • Brand strategy
    • Portfolio management
    • Product innovation
    • Integrated marketing
    • Consumer engagement
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience across Hong Kong and Taiwan markets is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
