Our client is a leading business aviation operator with a strong reputation for safety, service excellence, and operational reliability across the Asia-Pacific region. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced aviation engineering leader to head their Aircraft Maintenance and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) functions.

Job Description

    • Providing strategic leadership for Engineering andCAMO functions
    • Ensuring full compliance with HKAR, EASA, FAA and applicable regulatory requirements
    • Managing aircraft maintenance programmes and continuing airworthiness activities
    • Overseeing maintenance planning, fleet reliability and technical records management
    • Driving aircraft availability, dispatch reliability and operational performance
    • Managing implementation of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), repairs and modifications
    • Leading relationships with OEMs, MRO providers, regulators and lessors
    • Supporting audits, regulatory inspections and organisational approvals
    • Developing engineering strategies to optimise fleet performance and maintenance costs
    • Managing engineering budgets, contracts and supplier performance
    • Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team across CAMO, planning, technical services and engineering

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualification in Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Avionics Engineering or a related discipline
  • HKAR-66, EASA Part-66, FAA A&P or equivalent aircraft maintenance qualification preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of experience within aircraft engineering, airworthiness management or maintenance operations
  • Proven leadership experience within an airline, business aviation operator, MRO, CAMO or aircraft management organisation
  • Strong knowledge of continuing airworthiness regulations and maintenance programme management
  • Experience engaging directly with aviation authorities and regulatory audits
  • Demonstrated capability in managing aircraft reliability, fleet performance and engineering compliance
  • Strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
