Job Description

This is a high-impact fundraising and investor relations role responsible for driving capital raising initiatives and expanding the firm's investor network. The successful candidate will work closely with the Founders and senior leadership team to develop and execute fundraising strategies, cultivate new investor relationships, and represent the firm's investment capabilities to prospective allocators.

The role offers significant exposure to decision-makers and provides the opportunity to contribute directly to the firm's long-term growth and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead capital raising and business development initiatives across institutional and private wealth channels.
  • Identify, target, and engage prospective investors, including family offices, high-net-worth individuals, fund of funds, private banks, wealth platforms, and institutional allocators.
  • Leverage existing networks and industry relationships to generate new investment opportunities and investor introductions.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust fundraising pipeline through proactive client coverage and business development activities.
  • Present the firm's investment strategy, performance, and value proposition to prospective investors.
  • Coordinate and conduct investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and due diligence sessions.
  • Manage the investor onboarding process in partnership with internal operations and compliance teams.
  • Assist in enhancing fundraising presentations, marketing materials, pitchbooks, and investor communications.
  • Support responses to investor due diligence requests, DDQs, and ongoing information requirements.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing investors to drive engagement and retention.
  • Monitor market trends, investor appetite, and competitor activity to identify strategic fundraising opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in fundraising, institutional sales, capital raising, investor relations, or business development within asset management, hedge funds, private markets, or alternative investments.
  • Established network across family offices, private banks, wealth managers, institutional investors, endowments, foundations, or fund allocators.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level investor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, alternative investments, hedge funds, quantitative strategies, or digital asset markets.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to business development.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be advantageous.
  • Investor relationships across Asia and Greater China markets are highly preferred.
