Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Front Office to provide end-to-end clearing and settlement support for gold business.
  • Handle trade review and verification, authorization matching, fund settlement, SWIFT messaging and trade confirmation management.
  • Ensure gold transactions are processed accurately and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and controls.
  • Participate in the development, review and enhancement of gold settlement procedures, operational manuals and internal policies.
  • Provide settlement support for new gold products and business initiatives, including Gold ETFs, gold derivatives and tokenized gold.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth settlement and resolve transaction-related issues.



The Successful Applicant

Job Requirements

  • University graduate in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant settlement experience, preferably gained within banking or financial services.
  • Exposure to PRC-related transactions or operations would be an advantage.
  • Experience in gold, precious metals, treasury or financial markets settlement would be highly desirable.
  • Strong Chinese writing skills preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing.
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
