Job Description

As a Finance Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the regulatory reporting, financial reporting and FP&A team
  • Overseeing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support business goals.
  • Managing cash flow, investments, and risk management activities.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial statements and reports.
  • Supervising and mentoring the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Maintaining relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Director should have:

  • A strong background in banking and financial services.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Willing to take up 72B in the future
  • Regulatory reporting experience is a must
  • Thorough knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Hong Kong.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred.
