Job Description

As a Facility Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Managing facility budgets and optimising resource allocation effectively.
  • Coordinating with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans.
  • Supervising facility staff and ensuring efficient performance.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Preparing reports on facility operations and improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Facility Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of facilities management in the industrial or plant management.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities management.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of facilities professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
