Job Description

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with distribution partners, with a particular focus on expanding Hong Kong channel coverage.
  • Drive fund sales and business development initiatives through retail banks, private banks, and other intermediary platforms.
  • Actively engage with banking partners and frontline relationship managers through regular branch visits, product presentations, and business development activities.
  • Deliver product training, client seminars, roadshows, and marketing initiatives to enhance product awareness and sales momentum.
  • Partner closely with investment specialists and internal stakeholders to prepare sales presentations, fund updates, market commentary, and marketing materials.
  • Identify and onboard new distribution opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
  • Provide ongoing client servicing and sales support, including reporting, enquiry management, and post-sales follow-up.
  • Support strategic initiatives related to cross-border wealth management and regional distribution development.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience gained within asset management, fund houses, private banking, retail banking, wealth management, or financial institutions.
  • Candidates from private banking, retail banking, investment product, fund advisory, or treasury-related backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, mutual funds, and the Hong Kong distribution landscape.
  • Excellent relationship management, presentation, and business development skills.
  • Fluent Cantonese and English are mandatory for this position, given the extensive interaction with Hong Kong-based distributors, banking partners, and clients. Mandarin is also required for regional coverage.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong commercial awareness and client-facing capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment.
  • SFC Type 1 licence, Bloomberg knowledge, and CFA qualifications would be advantageous.
