Our client is a global leader in advanced electronics manufacturing and one of the world's leading printed circuit board manufacturers. With a significant manufacturing footprint across Asia, the organisation is looking for a senior quality leader who can operate beyond traditional QA governance and bring together engineering, technology, quality and commercial leadership.

Job Description

  • Lead the APAC Quality Engineering strategy for new technologies, manufacturing processes and NPI.
  • Partner with Corporate, Engineering and site leadership to establish regional quality and technology roadmaps.
  • Drive a company-wide culture of quality excellence, continuous improvement and Zero Defect thinking.
  • Oversee major customer quality escalations across Asia, particularly within China.
  • Lead complex Root Cause Corrective Actions, presenting findings and solutions to senior executives and key customers where required.
  • Partner directly with Factory General Managers to drive quality priorities, resource allocation and critical improvement programmes.
  • Establish and approve QA KPIs and contribute to factory and business-unit strategy.
  • Apply SPC, statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies to identify trends and drive sustainable improvement.
  • Lead cross-site projects, knowledge sharing and quality best-practice implementation.
  • Build strategic B2B customer relationships and strengthen the organisation's quality value proposition.
  • Ensure ongoing effectiveness and improvement of QMS requirements covering ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, TL9000 and ISO 13485.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant experience in a senior Quality leadership capacity.
  • Strong experience within, or closely supporting, the PCB / advanced electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, equipment and industry suppliers.
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100 standards.
  • Strong command of SPC, statistical analysis and data-driven quality improvement.
  • Familiarity with methodologies including 8D, 6S, Poka-Yoke, Jidoka, Andon, DOE, PFMEA, TPM and Zero Defect.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional and cross-site transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, customer-facing and people leadership capabilities.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Open to frequent travel.
