Our client is a well-known Investment Bank. Currently, they are seeking for an experienced Client Risk Analyst with first line risk exposure to join the team.

Job Description

  • Support the Client Risk team in reviewing account activity, client onboarding, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Independently perform and review Vulnerable Client Assessments.
  • Assess clients' Total Net Worth and Liquid Net Worth throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk reviews and ensure accurate documentation and process compliance.
  • Work closely with Front Office, Compliance, and other teams to resolve risk-related matters.
  • Analyze risk trends and data to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Assist with implementing and enhancing risk control procedures in line with regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare risk reports, escalate issues when needed, and follow up until resolution.
  • Support team training and share knowledge on risk controls and regulatory updates.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in reviewing and validating clients' assets, liabilities, Total Net Worth, and Liquid Net Worth.
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
  • Familiarity with private wealth management products such as funds, structured products, and alternative investments.
  • Experience in a first-line risk/control role within private wealth management is preferred.
