As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in a Hong Kong Listed pharmaceutical sector, you will oversee financial strategies, planning, and operations to ensure the organisation's financial health. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance and providing strategic insights to support business growth.

My client is a well established organisation in the pharmaceutical sector that is backed with decades of research and development by leading scientists and medical professionals. They are seeking for a high calibre CFO to take the organisation to the next level.

Job Description

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to align with business goals
  • Overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team
  • Monitoring and managing risks to safeguard the organisation's financial stability
  • Optimising financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Leading and mentoring the accounting and finance team

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Qualified Accountant (i.e. HKICPA, CPAA, AICPA etc)
  • At least 15-20 years of total working experience
  • Candidates with a Big 4 background is a plus
  • Must have industry knowledge in the pharmaceutical, life science or healthcare sectors
  • Must have worked in HK Listed organisations and well versed with compliance and HK Listing rules
  • Combination of strong experience in financial operations and capital market
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Languages in English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a plus
  • Open to travel between Hong Kong and China
