We are seeking a CFO to lead and oversee the Group Finance operations within the manufacturing and trading industry. This role requires a hands-on and results-driven individual with strong expertise in financial management and strategic decision-making.

Our Client is a Hong Kong-listed company and a leading player in its manufacturing sector, with primary factory operations based in mainland China.

Job Description

  • You will be responsible for formulating and executing the Group's financial strategy, driving the development of financial management framework and digital transformation initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a key business partner by actively participating in business operations, providing financial insights and support, overseeing cost control initiatives, reviewing quotations, and driving continuous cost reduction and productivity improvements.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership for overseas expansion initiatives, including the evaluation, planning, setup, and financial management of overseas manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with local regulatory, tax, and operational requirements.
  • Lead capital operations and treasury management, including coordinating investment and financing activities, evaluating strategic investment opportunities, managing cash flow and funding requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with banks, tax authorities, auditors, investors, analysts, and other key external stakeholders to ensure the security and stability of the Group's capital structure.
  • Oversee investor relations activities, including communications with shareholders, institutional investors, analysts, and the investment community, ensuring transparency and enhancing the company's market reputation.
  • Lead corporate governance, listing compliance, and regulatory matters, ensuring timely and compliant financial disclosures while effectively liaising with regulatory bodies, the Board of Directors, and shareholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines; with professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
  • At least 20 years of progressive financial management experience, including at least 10 years serving as Finance Director, CFO, Head of Finance, or an equivalent leadership role within a mid to large manufacturing group.
  • Deep understanding of financial regulations for Hong Kong-listed companies, IFRS standards, and tax and financial policies relevant to the mainland manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in establishing and managing overseas manufacturing operations or greenfield factory projects, with strong understanding of cross-border investment structures, tax planning, regulatory compliance, and operational setup.
  • Demonstrated track record in investor relations, including managing communications with shareholders, institutional investors, analysts, and capital market participants.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills, combined with strong professional integrity.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin.
