This role supports the delivery of large-scale insurance core system revamp projects, working closely with Project Managers, business users, and IT teams across the full project lifecycle. Job Description

  • Support end-to-end project delivery for large-scale core system revamp initiatives within the life insurance domain.
  • Assist Project Managers in planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of project activities to ensure timelines, scope, and quality objectives are met.
  • Act as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and meeting materials.
  • Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively follow up on action items to support smooth project execution.
  • Participate in requirements discussions, solution workshops, UAT coordination, and implementation activities.
  • Support governance processes, including steering committees, progress reviews, and management reporting.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to project management best practices and methodologies, with the opportunity to grow into a full Project Manager role.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience or above in the insurance industry, preferably in life insurance and core system-related projects.
  • Currently working as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role, with a strong interest in transitioning into Project Management.
  • Exposure to core system revamp / modernization projects or large-scale system transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, project delivery processes, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong sense of ownership, high energy, proactive mindset, and willingness to take up both coordination and execution responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English (spoken and written); Mandarin is a plus.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification or progress toward certification will be an advantage.
