Job Description

As an Associate Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead finance special projects from planning through delivery, ensuring clear scope, milestones and outcomes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand financial needs and provide practical guidance for decision-making.
  • Analyse financial information and present clear findings to support business planning and project priorities.
  • Develop project plans, track progress and address issues to keep finance initiatives on schedule.
  • Prepare concise reports and presentations that explain project status, financial impacts and next actions.
  • Work with Accounting & Finance colleagues to align project activities with existing finance practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through well-managed project work.
  • Build productive working relationships across the organisation to support consistent project delivery

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate Director, should have:

  • Strong capability in finance special projects and business partnering.
  • Experience analysing financial information to support practical business decisions.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and deliver finance-related projects with clear priorities.
  • Confidence preparing financial reports, presentations and project updates for stakeholders.
  • Experience working closely with stakeholders to understand and address finance requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and finance processes.
