Job Description

As an Application Support Assistant Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage day-to-day application operations to maintain reliable system performance.
  • Investigate application issues and coordinate timely resolution to reduce service disruption.
  • Gather business needs and translate them into clear application requirements.
  • Coordinate application changes, testing and deployment activities to support smooth delivery.
  • Monitor application performance and identify practical improvements.
  • Maintain accurate application documentation, including system changes and operating procedures.
  • Work with internal technology teams and external vendors on application-related activities.
  • Provide application guidance to users and address system-related enquiries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Application Support Assistant Manager should have:

  • Practical experience in application support, enhancement or delivery.
  • Ability to analyse user needs and document clear system requirements.
  • Experience coordinating system testing, issue resolution and change deployment.
  • Knowledge of application monitoring and incident investigation.
  • Ability to maintain clear technical and operational documentation.
  • Experience working with technology teams and third-party vendors.
