About Our Client

A fast-growing global manufacturing and product innovation business is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, with strong technical accounting expertise and proven NetSuite experience, to drive process improvements, ensure financial integrity, and partner with international stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accurate journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and timely reporting.
  • Prepare management accounts, financial analyses, and reporting schedules to support Group reporting and business decision-making.
  • Drive and support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of the NetSuite ERP system across the finance function.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data while strengthening accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows.
  • Partner closely with the Group Controller and international finance teams on reporting packs, variance analysis, consolidation support, and ad hoc projects.
  • Coordinate external and internal audits, manage auditor inquiries, and liaise with tax advisors and external service providers to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with HKFRS, group accounting policies, and statutory regulations while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally gained within a multinational, group, or multi-entity business environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience using NetSuite (Oracle ERP); prior involvement in ERP implementation or system migration projects is highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise with practical knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience preparing management accounts and supporting group reporting and consolidation processes.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
