About Our Client

Our client is a well-established international retail and trading business with a strong global presence. They are seeking an experienced Accountant/Senior Accountant to join their finance team and take ownership of financial reporting and month-end closing activities.

Job Description

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle full-set financial reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
  • Assist in group reporting and consolidation processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and assist with statutory audit requirements.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects.
  • Liaise with overseas offices and regional finance teams on reporting matters.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
  • Qualified or partly qualified accountant is preferred (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Candidates from trading, sourcing, manufacturing or multinational corporations are highly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English and Chinese(Cantonese and Mandarin).
