They are looking for experienced System Analysts to join a high-profile programme supporting critical post-trade and asset servicing applications.

A major financial services organisation is currently delivering a multi-year transformation programme to enhance its securities operations and technology capabilities. As part of this strategic investment, they are seeking experienced technology professionals to support application development, system integration and production support functions within a mission-critical environment.

Job Description

  • Participate in a large-scale transformation programme supporting global securities and asset operations.
  • Provide production support and technical ownership for business-critical applications.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolutions with internal and external technology teams.
  • Develop and maintain system integrations, interfaces and automation scripts.
  • Work closely with operations users, business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Support system upgrades, releases, testing activities and deployment.
  • Build monitoring, reporting and automation capabilities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist with system integration testing, UAT and production rollouts.
  • Ensure smooth daily processing and support ongoing platform enhancements.

The Successful Applicant

  • 6+ years of experience in application support, system analysis or production support.
  • Experience working within securities, brokerage, custody, asset management, clearing, settlement or post-trade environments.
  • Strong understanding of the securities transaction lifecycle.
  • Hands-on technical skills in one or more of the following:
    • Java
    • Python
    • Shell/Bash Scripting
  • Experience supporting Linux/Unix environments.
  • Knowledge of Oracle or other relational databases.
  • Experience with APIs, file transfers, messaging middleware or system integrations.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve production issues in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
