About Our Client

I'm supporting a leading local financial services firm in Hong Kong to recruit 3 System Analysts.
This is an Asia‑based financial institution with a headcount of over 200 employees. The role is fully in‑house and reports directly to a young, forward‑thinking IT Software Development Manager.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • You will be develop a complex financial software application modules using "ReactJS, Java, Spring Boot, Oracle SQL", with a focus on building responsive frontend interfaces with ReactJS and backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot;
  • Design and implement a scalable database systems, REST APIs, and user interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with business needs using Spring Boot and ReactJS;
  • Use Docker for containerizing applications, enhancing deployment consistency, scalability, and maintaining environments;
  • Deploy applications to AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance with various AWS services;
  • Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins, ensuring automated and efficient deployment processes;
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing (JUnit), and adherence to best practices for maintainability, while following Agile practices and maintaining version control using Git and GitHub.

The Successful Applicant

Job Requirements



MUST HAVE

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science/ related discipline;
  • AT LEAST 7 years of hands-on experience in backend development with "Morden Java & Spring Boot";
  • Strong knowledge of REST API design and Microservices architecture;



BEST TO HAVE

  • Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, IAM, etc.);
  • Proficient with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.);
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps workflows;
  • Experience with Docker/ Kubernetes containerized deployments;
  • Performance tuning and backend optimization experience.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-based platforms or test automation tools.
