Job Description

  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java technologies
  • Build scalable microservices and APIs for high-volume transaction processing
  • Participate throughout the SDLC, including design, development, testing and deployment
  • Collaborate with business users, QA teams and technical stakeholders to deliver new system enhancements
  • Support application performance tuning, troubleshooting and production stability
  • Contribute to CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices
  • Prepare technical documentation and ensure coding standards are followed
  • Drive continuous improvements in system architecture and development processes

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Strong Java development experience in enterprise environments
  • Solid experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and container technologies
  • Familiar with Kafka, Kubernetes and Docker
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as GitLab, JIRA, SonarQube and Nexus
  • Experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks
  • Linux scripting experience would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
