Job Description

As a Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensuring the team adheres to agile principles and practices for efficient project execution.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise tasks and manage project backlogs effectively.
  • Removing obstacles that hinder the team's progress and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and team performance to ensure goals are met.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Communicating project updates and progress to relevant stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Scrum Master should have:

  • Proven experience in facilitating agile practices within technology teams.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and frameworks in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to identify and address challenges in project workflows.
