Our client is a well-established global IT services provider, known for delivering complex transformation initiatives across enterprise environments. They are currently engaged in a large-scale infrastructure and platform modernization program within a highly regulated sector.

Job Description

  • Take full ownership of end-to-end data center relocation projects, including planning, execution, and cutover activities
  • Define and drive the overall relocation strategy, working closely with architects and SMEs on infrastructure design, dependency mapping, and migration approach
  • Develop detailed migration plans, wave planning, and move group sequencing across multiple sites and systems
  • Ensure business continuity, minimizing operational impact during all phases of the relocation
  • Act as the key liaison between client, internal teams, and external vendors, ensuring alignment and clear communication
  • Lead governance, reporting, and steering committee updates, engaging stakeholders at senior and executive levels
  • Oversee vendors involved in logistics, cabling, facilities, and hardware movement, ensuring quality and timely execution
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies where needed
  • Track project progress, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of IT project management experience, with strong exposure to infrastructure delivery
  • Proven track record managing data center relocation, consolidation, or large-scale migration projects
  • Experience working in mission-critical environments (e.g., banking, telecom, public sector, large enterprises)
  • Solid understanding of hybrid infrastructure, including:
    • Servers, storage, networks
    • Virtualization platforms
    • Cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple vendors
  • Strong capability in stakeholder management, including engagement with senior leadership
  • Experience driving project governance, risk control, and structured delivery frameworks
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
