Job Description

As a Network Server Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Windows and Linux server environments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining Tomcat server applications.
  • Monitoring server performance and implementing necessary upgrades or patches.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco networking devices and related systems.
  • Performing regular system backups and ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborating with the technology team to optimise server and network performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with security protocols and best practices.
  • Providing technical support and resolving server and network-related issues promptly.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Network Server Engineer should have:

  • Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Tomcat server applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco networking devices and configurations.
  • Skills in troubleshooting and resolving server and network issues efficiently.
