Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • You will be involved in POC and consulting during the pitching stage, manage projects for local clients, and lead an offshore development team to deliver solutions and oversee the full project lifecycle;
  • You will be supported by a local resource team and offshore development teams, including implementation engineers and technical software developers;
  • Provide solution consulting and technical advice to clients;
  • Work independently and take full ownership of medium to large-scale projects;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and act as the project lead;
  • Be accountable for all project deliverables;
  • Explain and align project plans, functional specifications, page flows, and other documentation with both internal teams and clients to ensure mutual understanding and expectations;
  • Conduct project review meetings at each milestone;
  • Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, remove obstacles, and manage client expectations to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality project delivery;
  • Ensure projects are completed within the assigned man-days;
  • Identify and manage client-raised change requests or enhancements;
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients;
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Team to grow existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and sharing the latest technology trends.

The Successful Applicant

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a proven track record as an end-to-end Consulting/Project Manager in software and network infrastructure implementation, including at least 5 years in a people management role within an integrated solutions firm (MUST).
  • Hands-on experience managing offshore software development teams for project delivery;
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and test management processes
  • Fluent in spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin (MUST)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication abilities
